Outlook Express - Your Client Email Software

Outlook Express is the best client email software to use for sending and receiving your email as well as sharing information in newsgroups with other users like you.

Email is probably the most popular applications software today and one of the main reasons why people are buying computers.

Everyone wants to send and receive news from their family and friends both close to home and especially from far away.

My wife would be a good example of that since I've been using computers since 1960 and she just started using computers this past year.

Located on the island of Kauai in the state of Hawaii has made us isolated from the mainland where most of her friends are.

Ever since she decided to learn about the computer I don't see or hear much from her anymore because she's too busy writing or reading email.

She gets instant feedback from the family and friends instead of waiting forever for them to answer her slow mail.

So how does this client email software help you to do what my wife is doing?

For one thing, it's easy to learn and use so people with little or no experience with computers can learn emailing quickly.

It comes with Microsoft Internet Explorer so it's with your latest version of the Windows Operating system which means you don't have to spend more money for additional software.

The initial challenge is setting up because you need to find out from your internet service provider (ISP) information about your email address and how to connect to their mail servers.

After setting up, you then need to understand the role your client email software plays in the overall scheme of things.

Now it's just a matter of knowing how to use this program to start communicating with your family and friends.

You'll be able to find out how others are doing with their lives and see pictures of them as well as send them pictures of you and your family.

We'll be covering the following in this section so that you can learn how to use Outlook Express:

  • Set It Up
  • compose and send email
  • Spell checking
  • reinstall the software
  • Setup the spam filter
  • Setup the spam blocker
  • Setup the anti spam software
  • Setup the backup
  • Upgrade the software
  • Update the software
  • Repair the software
  • Fix the software
  • Recover the software
  • Solve a problem
  • Fix an error
  • Configure the software
  • Do troubleshooting

So Outlook Express can be used once it's setup and you can start to have fun sharing information with familiy and friends.
