I liked the comments about the HP Pavilion ze5300 because he showed why he wanted a laptop instead of a desktop.

The key feature of portability was lost by the loss of the laptop's computer screen.

Good thing he was able to plug in an external monitor to salvage his computer or else he would have to buy another one.

So this reminds me to make sure to ask the question of if I lost my computer screen how could I protect my investment?

In that instance, it may have paid off to buy a service contract and it may have paid for itself over the long run.

I apprecicated that one important point since we are talking about a good investment being made when you buy a laptop computer.
