Dell Precision 350

by Flynn
(Hawaii)

I have to admit I didn't buy this Desktop computer because a friend gave it to me.

My friend didn't buy it either because he pulled it out of a trash can.

It looks like the original owner bought it new in 2001 judging by the dates of files that were still on the computer.

We've had it for about a year and a half and my wife wanted it so she could start using email for the first time.

It's 80 gigabytes storage on the hard drive and fast for it's day.

So far my wife is happy using it for email and pictures as well as communicating with friends and family.

We also use it for backing up our pictures and off loading from my computer since we have them both networking.

We haven't had any problems with it so far so I'm pretty happy with it.

The original owner probably paid some good money for it since the desktop had advanced features during 2001.

If the question was asked, would I buy it for personal use in 2001?

My answer would be, it would have cost me more than my budget could afford.

So I don't know if this was helpful but at least it might prime the pump for those who follow.
